1. Who we are

PlugCheckin is an online travel agency (OTA) that connects travelers with hotels, apartments and ranches across the Americas.

We act as an intermediary between you and the establishments. For part of the inventory we operate our partners' own inventory; for another part we resell accommodations from third-party providers, acting as the merchant of record for the transaction.

2. Scope of service (intermediation)

Our service consists of helping you search, compare and book accommodations. The lodging contract is entered into between you and the establishment or the relevant inventory provider.

We do not own or operate the listed accommodations and do not guarantee the availability, quality or suitability of any establishment. Descriptions, photos and amenities are supplied by the establishments or providers.

3. Bookings and cancellations

When you complete a booking you receive a confirmation with the details of your stay. Each rate has its own conditions.

Cancellation, modification and no-show rules are set per rate and per establishment and are shown before confirmation. Non-refundable rates allow no refund. It is your responsibility to read the applicable policy before confirming.

4. Payments and currency

We process card payments through authorized providers (dLocal) and PIX payments in Brazil through PlugPay. We may display prices in different currencies; the amount actually charged may be subject to conversion and exchange-rate variation depending on your issuer.

You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. We reserve the right to cancel bookings showing signs of fraud or unauthorized charges.

5. Refunds

Refunds, where applicable, follow the cancellation policy of the booked rate and are processed through the same payment method used. Timelines may vary depending on the payment provider and card issuer.

6. User obligations

You agree to provide truthful information, use the platform lawfully, respect each establishment's rules and refrain from activities that harm the service or other users.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PlugCheckin is not liable for damages arising from acts or omissions of the establishments, accommodation unavailability, or events beyond our reasonable control. Our liability, where it exists, is limited to the value of the intermediation corresponding to the booking.

8. Data protection

The processing of personal data complies with applicable law, including Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and other data-protection rules of the jurisdictions where we operate. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the platform, remember your preferences (such as language and currency) and measure performance. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update. Continued use after changes implies acceptance.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Paraguay, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules applicable in your country of residence.
